Charles was a famous english writer. Charles was born in Portsmouth 1812. He got married in 1836 with his wife Catherine Hogarth. He left school to work at a factory when his father sat in the debtors' prison. Charles edited a journal every week for 20 years. He also wrote 15 novels, 5 novellas and many many stories.
